Our Amalfi Coast Inspired Shoot at Samabe, Nusa Dua, Bali

Relaxed European vibes, fruit and luxury flowers plus a beautiful beachfront location all came together for this stunning collab with a bunch of super talented Bali creatives and vendors. Situated at Samabe Bali Suites & Resort in Nusa Dua, this amazing resort, overlooking the Indian Ocean with white sandy beaches was the ultimate setting to pull off this Amalfi Coast inspired shoot.

Samabe epitomises the tranquility of a beach resort in a lavish style. The Bali luxury resort sits on 8 hectares of land with 81 suites & villas, 2 restaurants and 2 bars. The suites & villas present stylish interior design with a typical touch of Balinese art. The ocean view from every suite & the villas boast the opulence of the resort.

The Bali Event Hire team’s luxury collection set the stage with a contemporary range of lounges, their brand new colourful cocktail stools, bar and a white, beachy combination of dining chairs and tables. The perfect duo when opulence meets those chilled out vibes. The ones we all pine for when in Bali. The collection was styled beautifully with flowers and fruits by My Style Wedding Decoration for a formal, beachside dinner setting overlooking the ocean, and a romantic cocktail area based in the uber cool cave on the beach.

The gorgeous combination of flowers used were blue hydrangeas which are plentiful in Bali (and can bring your costs down), white roses peeled back so delicately, and some divine greenery. Not to be outdone by the 100 lemons weaved throughout the day. (Also in abundance in Bali!)

When it comes to wedding planning, it’s no secret that SilverLace Weddings is one of our go-to wedding planners on the island and they brought a wealth of knowledge and fun when bringing together this shoot. So when the team told us they were almost fully booked for next year, it’s no wonder as this team is awesome. It was so great to see them all in action on the beach at Samabe, Nusa Dua!

We were entertained whilst bringing all of the shoot elements together with Lydia Rose singing, (what a rockstar) accompanied by her (ridiculously cool) band and Sammy Sax bringing all the feels with a (so so) sexy saxophone.

The tablescape was perfectly complemented with stunning tableware by The Host Table, and one of our favourite elements of the day were the cream-embroidered, custom-designed napkins which brought the whole look together, along with the oriental, porcelain-like ceramic pots from Bloomz.

It’s safe to say we’re feeling totally inspired by this creative collaboration! Plus, add our divine Bali-based couple who had no trouble in making us all swoon over their (real) love for each other, this was one we didn’t want to end. Our beautiful bride was dolled up by our super-talented hair and make-up artist Sneha Gopalan.
